Part-Time, 30 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract to start in November
The Governors of the South Hams Federation are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant / Meal time Assistant on a fixed term contract to work with a child with SEND needs to start in November 2025 at Modbury Primary School.
This role will involve working as part of our established team under the guidance of the Head of School whilst following the new Early Years framework.

Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to the planning and operation of a programme of activities suitable to the needs of the child.
Contribute to child's records and learning journeys
Support all staff and engage in a good staff team
To be flexible within the working practices of the school. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the preschool e.g. cleaning of equipment
Work alongside the manager, and staff team and outside agencies to ensure that the aims and objectives of the class are met
Look upon the school as a "whole". Where can your help be most utilised, being constantly aware of the needs of the children.

To ensure the school offers a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development
