Teaching Assistant
Job Description
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team to provide in-class support and interventions.
This is a busy, friendly, well-resourced school. We have a hardworking, dedicated staff who work closely as a team for the benefit of all children. The school provides good quality professional development encouraging its staff to develop a wide range of skills.
Ideally you will have GCSEs in English and Maths at least grade C or above (or equivalent). You may be a graduate considering a career in teaching.
The role requires taking responsibility for some small group teaching as well as some working 1:1 with a child. You will work closely with class teachers and other support staff. You need to be flexible, adaptable, enjoy working with children and be passionate about children's learning.

30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - term time only

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure DBS check. The Governors take child protection extremely seriously and all references offered will be followed. This post is subject to a successful probationary period.
