Job Description

Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with Year 2 pupils in a two-form entry Primary School, located in Oldham.

You will be working closely with class Teachers to plan the lesson and create innovative ways to ensure a supportive, creative learning environment where pupils can expand their knowledge and play a positive role in school life.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

• Have previous experience of working in KS1
• Share an understanding of the importance of a child-centred approach to learning
• Develop and promote positive relationships with children, adults, and other practitioners
• Plan deliver and evaluate teaching and learning activities under the direction of a teacher
• Support Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy development
• Observe and promote pupil performance and development
