Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism. This role is essential in fostering the academic and social development of students, ensuring they receive the guidance and support necessary to thrive.

Responsibilities



Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to students' individual needs. Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those with disabilities or special educational needs. Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts. Help create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the teacher on individual performance. Support students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop strategies for effective teaching and learning. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications



Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or mentoring capacity. Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse learners. A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment. Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous but not essential. Pay: 97.90-141.47 per day
