Pickering Infant and Nursery School is a warm and friendly school held in high regard by the local community. The Governors and Head Teacher are looking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated, caring and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our team in maintaining the ethos of nurturing, inspiring, challenging and motivating our children.


Our new Teaching Assistant will join our experienced staff team to contribute to building on our current successes in developing and securing the highest possible standards of achievement and enjoyment for our children.

We are looking for an inspirational teaching assistant who:

have a good working knowledge of the Early Years' Framework is full of energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for children's learning both indoors and outdoors is committed to providing engaging learning opportunities which encourage development of key skills and independence Is able to engage and work with children with SEND is a strong team member who wants to work with colleagues to develop their practice in their own classroom and across the key stage and is reflective in their practice has incredibly high expectations in terms of what children can achieve in their learning and behaviour
