Teaching Assistant (RBD) 30 hours per week, Term time only (Temporary)





We are looking to appoint a dedicated, engaging and inspiring teaching assistant to join our team in the resource base for deaf children at Newlands School. You will be required to support and assist with the development of deaf children within the school. The role will involve a combination of class-based support and withdrawal for specialist interventions under the guidance of a Teacher of the Deaf.



Experience of working with children with additional needs, preferably children with hearing loss or speech and language difficulties and a knowledge of signing are desirable, but not essential. Candidates must have achieved a pass at GCSE level for English and Maths. There is a possibility of a permanent post for the right candidate.

The salary band for this role is 22,626 - 24,379. The

starting salary is 22,626

with annual progression through the salary bands.
