Hours of work are 22 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am -1.00pm term time only. Temporary until 31st August 2026 in the first instance.



The Governing Body of Our Lady & St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and great interpersonal skills.



Our Lady & St Joseph's is a one form entry Catholic Primary School situated in Wath-upon-Dearne in Rotherham. Our school offers a fantastic environment and developing curriculum for our children and staff, and we are proud of the significant achievements secured - including a strong results track-record. We have worked hard to develop our outdoor environment and have developed the Forest School approach across all year groups.



We are seeking to employ someone who has;


Level 2 or equivalent qualifications (or a commitment to beginning this training) Experience of working with children A kind and caring attitude towards children of all ages A good sense of humour and is able to work as part of a team
