We're a local recruiting agency, hiring on behalf of a specialist SEN schools. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities, including long-term roles for the right candidates.

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and proactive

SEN Teaching Assistant

to join a specialist setting supporting pupils aged

5 to 19

with a range of additional needs. With new classrooms being built and pupil numbers increasing, this is an exciting time to join a well-resourced, forward-thinking school that genuinely invests in staff wellbeing, development, and mental health support.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs Assisting in managing challenging behaviours positively and professionally Working alongside teachers to adapt learning activities to pupil needs Supporting classroom routines and promoting a positive environment Assisting with personal care as needed

What We Are Looking For:

Experience working with SEN (desirable, but not essential - the right attitude and honesty are more important) A calm, patient manner and ability to use initiative A genuine passion for helping young people thrive Willingness to engage in trial days to understand the needs of different classes Flexibility to support pupils with varying levels of need
