At our primary school inclusion isn't just a value--it's a way of life. In September 2023, we proudly opened ou rAdditional Resource Provision (ARP), for children with speech, communication, and language needs. This nurturing space offers smaller class sizes, tailored learning environments, and a deeply supportive team focused on helping pupils thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

We're now seeking a compassionate, skilled

SEND Teaching Assistant

to join us and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pupils.

What You'll Do:

Support pupils with SEND and additional needs in the ARP and across mainstream classes Foster emotional regulation and social communication through structured routines and play Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to create consistent, child-centred support Help pupils engage confidently in group activities, lessons, and whole-school events

Who We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEND, especially speech and language needs Knowledge of communication tools such as Makaton, PECS, or BSL (or willingness to train) Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education A team player who thrives in a dynamic, child-focused environment
