We are looking for dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join our welcoming team at a secondary SEND school in Southampton, supporting pupils with a range of learning difficulties and SEND.
About the Role:
Temporary role, could be full-time or a few days a week
Would need to be able to offer the 8:30-15:30 hours
Start date: September 2025
Work within small class groups (typically 4-5 pupils) alongside a class teacher and another TA
Support pupils in developing both academic and life skills in a safe, structured setting
Help maintain a calm and engaging learning environment
We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH is desirable
This role would be ideal for students that are wanting experience alongside their degree
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Good communication and teamworking skills
A genuine desire to support the progress and wellbeing of every pupil
