Supply Teaching Assistants

to join our team and support schools across Southend. This flexible role is perfect for someone who loves variety, enjoys working with children, and wants to make a positive impact every single day.

As a Supply TA, you'll step into different classrooms, support teachers with engaging lessons, and help create a safe, inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting teachers with the delivery of fun, engaging lessons and activities Working 1:1 or with small groups to boost confidence, understanding, and progress Helping maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment Feeding back to teachers on pupil progress or any concerns Adapting quickly to new schools, routines, and classroom styles Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children's social and emotional development Following school guidelines to keep every child safe, supported, and happy

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children (school, volunteering, childcare, youth work, or other transferable experience) A warm, positive attitude and a genuine passion for education Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Reliable, organised, and adaptable to different school settings An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one and join the Update Service)
