We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring individual to provide individualised support to pupils in our vibrant, welcoming and supportive village school.

Job Details

Salary:

24,790 to 27,711 (pro rata) 12.85 to 14.36 per hour


Contract Type:

Due to the funding linked to this appointment, this is a temporary contract until 22nd July 2026 with a six months probationary period, subject to satisfactory service

.



Working Pattern:

The working hours are term time only from 8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday

What You Need to Succeed



For your application to be successful you will be able to offer some or all of the following:


an interest in and understanding of the needs of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder); experience of working with children, preferably in a primary or early years setting; willingness to learn, adopt and adapt different approaches used to facilitate learning for pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities (SEND); capacity to devise creative and imaginative approaches in order to motivate children to learn; an ability to be fair, apply equal opportunities at all times and understand the importance of confidentiality; evidence of team working and an ability to use your own initiative; commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour; and a growth mind-set demonstrating an ability to seek solutions.
