Stallingborough Church of England Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our lovely school as soon as possible. This is a part time, fixed term (until 31st August 2026), Level 2 TA position, supporting in the EYFS classroom and providing support for individual children when required.

The successful candidate -
is warm, enthusiastic and approachable, with a good sense of humour that helps to create a positive, nurturing environment for our youngest learners

has a secure understanding of the EYFS framework and child development, with experience of supporting learning through play and adult-led activities

is an excellent classroom support practitioner, able to work under the direction of the class teacher to deliver engaging, purposeful provision

values the importance of teamwork and has excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues across the EYFS team

promotes the safety, wellbeing and independence of pupils, with a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

builds strong, positive relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning and development

is able to implement programmes and targeted interventions to support children's language, communication, social and emotional development

has experience of using positive behaviour management strategies suitable for young children, supporting self-regulation and social skills

is committed to their own professional development and eager to grow their EYFS expertise
