Teaching Assistant (Level C2)

Hours of Post: 15 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am to 12noon

Contract Type: Fixed Term for 1 year

Salary Grade: Scale 3, points 5 to 6 - 24,790 to 25,183 FTE

(Salary will be pro rata to part time, term time hours)

Start Date of Post: September 2025

We are a caring and nurturing Church of England school in South Reddish.


The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a committed and self-motivated teaching assistant with experience. The successful candidate should be able to show a commitment to the learners and have the ability to act on their own initiative in supporting the needs of the children and the teachers they work with.


We are a small, friendly and supportive Church of England Primary school. You will be joining a happy, hardworking and dedicated staff. We are looking for a strong team player who is passionate and motivated about children's learning and committed to working within the wider Christian ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will:

have the ability to inspire children and provide high quality learning experiences be an inclusive excellent, professional practitioner with a desire to help children achieve have very high expectations of children's attainment and behaviour have the ability to work positively with children, parents and other stakeholders committed to working with children who have specific learning needs
