Teaching Assistant
Job Description
Due to recent success and growth, our nurturing and highly personalised provision is expanding to support up to 12 pupils. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our small, dedicated team as a Teaching Assistant. This position will involve general TA responsibilities in a morning, with support off site in an afternoon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Ensuring all children are engaged, safe and learning
Delivering interventions to small groups of children
Assisting the class teacher
Support during break and lunchtime.
We need our TA to have the following skills:
A good communicator and motivator who develops positive relationships with children
A team player who can work flexibly and reliably
Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
An inclusive approach to education
A professional manner
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
Lead sporting activities.
Experience in SEND
Desirable:
One year experience in a school environment
A full, clean driving licence.
Experience:
Working with children: 1 year (preferred)
