Tuxford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic

Teaching Assistant

with a commitment to helping every learner succeed. The role will involve supporting the teachers in delivering innovative and creative lessons which engage and challenge students to achieve their full potential. There will be some small group work, and 1:1 sessions where you can really make a difference to the students' journey.

Essential
Experience of working with young people in a classroom environment Highly effective verbal, written, and visual communication skills Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes in a dynamic environment




Desirable
Experience of working with young people with special educational needs, particularly SEMH, and/or disabilities A thorough and practical understanding of issues related to improving students' progress and ensuring equality of opportunity both in and out of the classroom
