Job Description

GCSE Maths and English tuition assistant required at our WalsallCentre.

Wednesday 5:00 - 7:00pm

Saturday 9:30-12:30pm

To support and guide students with their Maths and English work and encourage them to work to the best of their ability.

Accurately mark, provide constructive feedback and record progress of student's work in accordance with guidelines.

Build and maintain positive working relationships.

Manage parent enquiries informatively.

To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required. There may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working hours.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, preferably with experience of supporting students, have exceptional GCSE's in the core subjects (Grade 7's +), be punctual and reliable and have the ability to show initiative and work without direct supervision.

This post is subject to a check being carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) regarding any previous criminal record.
