The Avenue Primary School and Children's Centre is looking for a caring and dedicated
Teaching Assistant
to join its friendly team and provide support to pupils, with effect from June 2025.
We are a vibrant co-educational, non-denominational primary school, educating children between the ages of 3 and 11. As a
Teaching Assistant
, you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, including those requiring SEN support, liaising with teachers and SENCO.
We and are looking for someone who:
Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children and supporting them in their development;
Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills;
Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent;
Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
Is a strong team player, who can use their own initiative;
Has a positive and flexible attitude;
Has a current First Aid or is prepared to undertake training.
