We are seeking a

Teaching Assistant

to join our team of expert educators. You will provide vital support for pupils, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role and You



Contract Type:

Part-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, Term Time

Salary:

Dependent on experience

Under the supervision and with the support of the class teacher and the school SENCO, you will be expected to:



Provide day to day classroom support for the pupil, including behavioural support, to motivate and encourage him with learning tasks Liaise with class teacher, SENCO and other professionals about individual education plans (IEPs), contributing to the planning and delivery as appropriate Be able to work collaboratively with a variety of agencies, to follow advice given by Behaviour Specialists (ABA), Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists Read, absorb and understand the content and objectives of an EHCP and other reports and assessments as they become available Attend and participate at meetings as required, including Annual Reviews and Multidisciplinary Team meetings and liaising with outside agencies and professionals as required

We are looking for someone who has:



A minimum of two years' experience working 1:1 with SEN pupils is required. A compassionate and patient approach to working with children with diverse learning needs. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
