SEND Teaching Assistant - Autism & Sensory Avoidance (Wembley)



Support a Year 3 pupil with autism and sensory avoidance in a creative Wembley primary. The pupil avoids loud noises, crowded spaces, and struggles with fine motor tasks. You'll adapt the environment, provide sensory-friendly resources, and support with handwriting

and transitions.

Experience working with children with autism or communication needs Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, and sensory regulation is desirable De-escalation or Team Teach training is an advantage Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient Committed to inclusive education and building positive relationships
