passionate, resilient, and proactive Teaching Assistant

to lead and coordinate pastoral care across our school community.



The Role


As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils' learning, behaviour, and wellbeing under the guidance of teaching staff. You will work closely with teachers, families, and professionals to help pupils engage positively with education in a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment.



Key Responsibilities

Support pupils' learning, behaviour, and emotional development in line with individual needs Assist with classroom preparation, learning activities, and record-keeping Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, confidentiality, and the Staff Code of Conduct Actively embed the

About You

Passionate about supporting pupils with SEND and complex needs Experience working in an educational, care, or SEND setting Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour-management skills Patient, empathetic, and adaptable Willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development


Contract & Benefits

Salary: 24,570-25,935 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Term Time Only: 40 weeks per year (September-July), including 10 mandatory training days
