About the Role:

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join an amazing special school. This is a long term/temp to perm role Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 4pm on a temp to perm basis. The position will involve working as a general classroom Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with a range of needs.

The school are looking for an inspiring Teaching Assistant who will care for, enthuse and motivate the children, delivering excellent support for learning.

We are looking for someone who:

is passionate about supporting and inspiring children is able to draw on life experience and use it to guide young people is able to connect with pupils who have experienced trauma is able to work creatively, innovatively and develop pupils' self-belief is able to think outside the box and look for new ways to engage young people

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, particularly in education or alternative provision. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs. Registration with

The Youth Education Service

and completion of thorough interview and referencing checks. A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
