Teaching Assistant
Location: Wood Green, N22 4HH
Salary: 90 - 105 per day (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 8:15 am - 3:45 pm
Contract Type: Ad hoc supply needs
GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in Wood Green, providing Ad hoc supply needs to the school.
This role involves supporting in a SEN school with Autism and various SEN. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working collaboratively with teachers and staff to deliver a high standard of care and education.
Teaching Assitant Responsibilities:

Supporting children with Autism and various SEN needs.
Help implement individualised support plans and learning objectives for students.
Support students in developing essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and independence.
Work alongside teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Record and monitor students' progress, helping adjust support strategies as necessary.

Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:

Prior SEN experience in a school or educational setting/ understanding.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
A caring and patient attitude, with a focus on the welfare of students.
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
