Teaching Assistant
Permanent, Term Time +1 Week, Full Time x5 days a week (33hrs)
SCP 4 to 6, FTE: 25,185 to 25,989 per annum, Pro-rata: 19,314 - 20,291 per annum
Start date: as soon as possible
Wymondham College Prep School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in not only working with whole classes of children but also working with small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity, intervening to close gaps in children's subject knowledge and developing their basis skills.

THE POST
We are looking for a positive, caring and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join the team at Wymondham College Prep School on a permanent basis. The role will support the complement the professional work of teachers as directed.
The successful candidate will: Have previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have evidence of professional growth having received training in a range of different academic, SEND and social & emotional areas of child development;
Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and professional development;
Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring disposition and a good sense of humour;
Understand the importance of an inclusive environment, supporting pupils to follow the school's Good Choice Mantras '*Do the Right Thing / Make a Difference / Value Every Voice'; Have a nurturing and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism and compassion.
