You will be required to undertake high quality teaching at postgraduate and undergraduate level in order to support the work of the Group and School and develop and enhance its teaching reputation, both internally and externally. Your primary role will be to support the delivery and development of the new MSc in Financial Technology. This includes the ability to deliver modules such as Programming and Big Data Analytics, Text Analytics, and other FinTech-related modules, helping to ensure high-quality learning and teaching aligned with current and emerging industry practices. You will also organise and deliver a range of extracurricular activities complementing the MSc Financial Technology and help with the promotion of the program and school.

You will undertake the full range of teaching-related activities, including seminar teaching, marking and some lecturing. In addition, you will support the work of the department, and develop and enhance its teaching reputation, internally and externally. Having gained a PhD (or being near completion) in a relevant discipline, you will have sufficient breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to provide learning support and supervise graduate student projects.


Successful candidates will be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to use face to face and online delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students on undergraduate and postgraduate level.
