'Open House' Drop In Session: We will be holding an 'open house' drop in session at the University's Exchange building, in Centenary Square, Birmingham, between 10am and 5pm on Friday 6th June 2025. Background
To teach and advise undergraduate, postgraduate or CPD students within the Pharmacy and within an established teaching programme, managed supervised by a member of staff with ultimate responsibility for the design, delivery and assessment of the teaching programme.
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Clinical Pharmacy to join our growing and vibrant School of Pharmacy for a 12 month period. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in pharmacy education and help influence the future practice of pharmacy.
The University of Birmingham's School of Pharmacy resides within the College of Medicine and Health facilitating interdisciplinary with practitioners in Nursing and Midwifery, Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Science, and Physiotherapy. The post holder will have a focus in Clinical Pharmacy o Practice with a desire to further develop their high-quality teaching initiatives appropriate to their specialty. This could involve a wide range of subjects relevant to the practice of pharmacy or clinical applications of pharmacy, with scholarship aligned to the School's core areas of teaching or research. You will be working with a welcoming and supportive community of pharmacy academics.
The post holder would be able to participate in the design, development, and delivery of the MPharm, with a focus on the principles of Pharmacy practice in a changing profession, alongside our postgraduate offerings. Our MPharm programme is a well-regarded undergraduate programme, producing high quality pharmacy graduates.
