A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary, full-time teaching fellow to support aspects of the taught portfolio across the School, particularly focussed on the taught physics provision, for the duration of 12 months.

The School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Lincoln is a diverse community of students and staff who work together to advance knowledge and understanding across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including engineering, computer science, mathematics, and physics.

Since its founding, the School has collaborated on ground-breaking initiatives working with local and national employers including Siemens Energy to continuously seek to develop its education portfolio, transformative research, and knowledge exchange for the 21st century.

Our research includes several important research groupings including "L-CAS" Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems Research (L-CAS) : https://lcas.lincoln.ac.uk/wp/ Centre for Computational Physics: https://comp-physics-lincoln.org/ and Sustainable Energy and Power Research Group: https://www.lincoln.ac.uk/engphys/engineeringresearch/sustainableenergyandpower/.

The School is inviting applications for a full-time teaching fellow with specific skillsets in physics or related disciplines for the duration of 12 months. The post would be of particular interest for candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our community through these avenues of teaching support and enhancement.

Responsibilities for the post include teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, outreach and recruitment activity. You will have demonstrable experience in education as well as knowledge of the technical aspects of the role and be able to support and advance the School's curricula, contribute to student mentoring activities, and leverage synergies with other Schools across the College of Health and Science and the wider campus
