Job Title: Team Administrator



Location: Prospect House, Crendon Street, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP13 6LA



Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (hybrid working available once training is complete, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)



Trust Location: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust



Role type: Temporary for 2 months with possibility of extension

What you'll be responsible for:



Act as the first point of contact for all patients wishing to refer themselves to the service, usually via the telephone. The post holder will take confidential and sensitive information while processing the information on the team's electronic database.

Respond to high volumes of calls and emails and communicate sympathetically and efficiently with individuals on the phone who are self-referring while inputting personal data onto the electronic healthcare record

Accurately update computerised patient records as required. Maintain the security and confidentiality of information in line with the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and local policies and procedures

Assist colleagues within the administration team to maintain data quality and make improvements to data collection where necessary

Provide a polite and efficient reception service to visitor

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:



1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:



Microsoft packages including Excel.

Excellent IT skills

NHS experience (desirable)

Good communication and organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
