Team Administrator

Role Purpose
The team administrator is a key support role, working to the Business Support Manager, in providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the team and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. The role has the potential for the individual to progress into a formal qualification in health & safety and to specialise in the Working at Heights field.
This position is central to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by managing and coordinating a variety of tasks related to working at heights (WAH) and other H&S protocols.
The role encompasses general office management, such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, managing office supplies, and supporting team members with day-to-day administrative needs, thereby allowing the team to focus on their core functions. The administrator will also have the opportunity to upskill themselves in managing the office when the Business Support Manager is away, and also have the opportunity to learn a formal H&S qualification.
The role is hybrid, with an emphasis on being in the positive office environment, as well as out in the operational field or working from home on occasion. Being local to the company office is a must.
Key Responsibilities
People Support
You'll be the friendly first point of contact for colleagues and people outside the company, particularly clients, helping them with their questions and making sure they get to support they desire.
You'll provide a helping hand to the team, taking care of things like scheduling meetings, managing calendars, helping with travel, so they can focus on their core work.
Quality

You'll have a knack for finding ways to make our processes smoother and more efficient, helping the team work better and more productively.

Operational Delivery
You'll assist in keeping the office running like a well-oiled machine, handling everything from ordering supplies and managing mail to working with our suppliers.
You'll help make sure our office environment is a safe, clean, and comfortable place for everyone to work.
You'll be a vital part of the team, supporting projects and initiatives by handling the administrative details and coordinating with colleagues to help us meet our goals. Preparing and finalising reports, for clients, and uploading them, will be integral to your role. We are bound by strict client service level agreements and key performance indicators, and you will be key to our team being successful in this space.
Organisational Skills
You'll be a master of time management, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities with ease in a busy environment.
Keeping our digital and physical files tidy and organised will be second nature to you, making it easy for everyone to find what they need.
You're great at multitasking and can handle a variety of tasks at once without missing a beat.
IT Skills
You'll be comfortable and confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other important software. One Drive and SharePoint will be your mainstay for managing and organising documents etc. for the team
You'll be quick to pick up new technology and systems, using them to make our work more efficient. Presenting innovative ideas will be a real plus.
Managing our databases and digital files will be an area where you excel.
