We\'re looking for a Team Assistant to join the London based Real Estate Investment team, working closely with the wider Schroders organisation.

The base

The team
Schroder Real Estate is a London based Pan-European and Global real estate investment manager. Schroders has managed real estate funds since 1971 and currently has about \xc2\xa317 billion of real estate assets under management.

Our team consists of around 200 people operating from thirteen offices globally. The team is experienced in investment management, research and strategy, product and client management, finance and administration and benefits from the significant resources and expertise of the Schroder Group.

What you\'ll do
Provide secretarial services to a selected number of Asset and Portfolio Managers in the Real Estate Direct Investment team.
Duties including but not exclusively:

  • Organisation of day to day meetings including communication with clients, room bookings and catering requirements.
  • Arrangement of domestic and international travel working within Schroders\' travel policy and in the most cost effective way.
  • Preparation of monthly expense claims.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties and working with other secretaries as required.
  • Acting as point of contact for clients and external parties as required.
  • Housekeeping to ensure teams\' electronic files/ folders are organised in an orderly manner.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
  • Admin experience within a corporate environment beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complete adherence to confidentiality at all times.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills essential.
  • Forward thinking and attention to detail required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport internally and externally at all levels.
  • Team player.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and technology skillset.
