As

Team Assistant Apprentice

, you will support the GenMed Business Unit through proactive administrative and organisational assistance. You'll help prepare and coordinate key strategic and operational meetings, manage diaries, and organise team offsites with productive locations and impactful agendas.


Your role will include budget tracking, PO requests, and support for internal and external congresses, onboarding, and training activities. You'll manage travel and accommodation in line with SOPs and provide day-to-day administrative support, including preparing presentations, maintaining filing systems, and assisting with internal communications.


You'll also contribute to ad hoc projects and business unit events, helping ensure smooth operations and effective team collaboration.


This role is based in Reading, requiring three days a week in the office -- with either Monday or Friday as one of those days. The apprentice will be enrolled in a Business Administrator (Level 3) course.

Main responsibilities:



Support the planning and coordination of key franchise meetings. Organise team offsites and events, ensuring effective logistics and impactful agendas. Assist with purchase order creation and budget management processes. Provide business unit event support, including preparation and on-site coordination. Manage diaries and scheduling to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About you




The ideal candidate will:

Demonstrate organisational skills with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail Be reliable and able to handle confidential information with discretion Thrive in collaborative environments with strong verbal and written communication Possess good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite (advance Office 365 experience is a strong plus) Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands Bring a proactive mindset and problem-solving approach Previous events coordination experience (beneficial but not essential)
