This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic team while developing your skills in administration and data management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with ease, and maintaining professionalism at all times.


Key responsibilities include assisting a busy Industry Development team with event delegate & speaker management for our large events, diary management for senior members of the Industry Development team and general data/admin for the department. The position requires flexibility, with occasional travel and extended working hours during events. The successful candidate will be a team player, able to prioritise effectively and ensure effect administration and data management for the department, while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.


This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop strong admin and data experience while contributing to the success of the BVCA.

The role will offer you:



Role Responsibilities



Event Delivery Team Support

: Assist with delegate and speaker management for the event delivery team, focusing on the flagship events, diary management, and general data/admin tasks department wide.

Data Management

: Use CRM to manage data, maintain online filing systems, and ensure data accuracy.

Communication

: Coordinate communications department wide, arrange panel calls for the event delivery team, and manage collateral.

Execution

: Support the event delivery team on in person and digital event execution, Manage delegate bookings, and handle pre- and post-event communications.

Administrative Tasks

: Maintain department wide files, systems, and databases, manage inboxes, and support ad-hoc projects.

Requirements



+ Strong administrative skills with a focus on process improvement + Adaptable and flexible, able to respond to changing business needs
+ Excellent time management and organisational skills
+ Proficient in MS Office and CRM databases (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
+ Exceptional accuracy and proof-reading abilities
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
