Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Coach to join our Community Football Club. (Youth Teams). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire young athletes and contribute to their personal and athletic development through organised training sessions and competitive matches.

Responsibilities

Plan, organise, and deliver engaging football training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Coach players on technical skills, tactical awareness, and sportsmanship principles. Monitor individual progress and provide constructive feedback to optimise performance. Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all participants. Organise team drills, practice matches, and preparation for competitions. Promote teamwork, discipline, and respect among players. Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is safe and well-organised. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding training schedules and player development.

Requirements

Proven experience in football, with a strong understanding of game tactics and player development. Previous teaching or mentoring experience is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan effective training sessions. Strong communication skills to motivate and instruct players of diverse ages and abilities. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, as required for training sessions or matches. Recognised coaching qualifications (Minimum SFA 1.2 or equivlent) or willingness to obtain qualifications Commitment to promoting a positive sporting environment that emphasises teamwork, respect, and personal growth.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 7 per week
