The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an exceptional Team Lead to help manage a team of hardworking individuals within our production unit working back shift . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about leadership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Health & Safety

Promote and demonstrate a 'health and safety first' culture. Communicate and resolve safety issues promptly. Participate in weekly fire tests and bi-weekly 5S audits.

People & Leadership

Be 100% Pro Wilsonart every day! Act as the first point of contact for your team. Coach and develop team members through monthly 1-1s. Foster a culture of fairness, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Production & Throughput

Maximise efficiency and sustainability across all processes. Follow production schedules and optimise targets. Use data analysis (e.g., Pareto) to drive improvements.

Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet or exceed quality standards. Analyse reject reasons and implement corrective actions. Manage non-conforming products appropriately.

Downtime & Maintenance

Minimise downtime through proactive analysis and reporting. Communicate repetitive issues to the Shift Manager.

Resource Management

Ensure availability of materials, people, and consumables. Operate processes when needed to maintain production flow.

Reporting & Documentation

Input daily OEE data and complete EOL automation transactions. Maintain accurate training records and holiday requests. Produce structured improvement reports using "as is / is now" methodology.

Performance & Development

Work towards SMART objectives aligned with company strategy. Be open to training (e.g., First Aid, Fire Marshal) to support your role.

What We're Looking For

Knowledge & Experience

In-depth knowledge of production units and processes. Strong understanding of product quality and customer requirements. Familiarity with OEE reporting and automated production systems. Excellent communication and basic computer skills. Reliable, flexible, and capable of training others.
