Job Description

Objectives of Role are to





Drive, develop, and maintain regional personnel needs in line with budget and priorities.


Support, review, and approve personnel deployment and training plans in accordance with company policies

RESPONSIBILITIES





Lead functional recruitment, training, and competency development of assigned personnel.


Ensure effective personnel resourcing through proper planning.


Align workforce planning with operational needs.


Manage career development, succession planning, and annual appraisals.


Collaborate with the department manager to match personnel with project requirements.


Handle personnel matters with HR and functional leaders, ensuring compliance with company policies

DUTIES/TASKS (What you deliver)




Tasks can include, but are not limited to:


Recruit, onboard, develop, retain and offboard personnel.


Manage onboarding processes for new staff.


Support training and development initiatives; maintain competency matrices and records.


Track and execute appraisals, objectives, and development plans.


Monitor and update training records and certifications for the engineering team.


Plan personnel deployment (secondments, travel, offshore, leave).


Maintain departmental trackers for actions and activities.


Keep CVs and competency databases updated.


Support system, policy, and process updates as directed by the Regional Project Execution Manager.


Respond to Project Execution team enquiries.


Assist with department administration, including travel bookings.

Requirements



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Preferred but not mandatory)




Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).

Experience / Skills:




Previous experience in a similar role (preferred).


Fluent English.


Strong computer literacy (MS Office).


Proactive problem-solving ability.


Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation.


Interest in emerging technologies and adaptability in fast-paced environments.



Experience can compensate for lack of formally proven competence
