Job Summary:



As a Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that your team performs at their best while delivering exceptional customer service. You will set the standard for work ethic and customer service, leading by example in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Supervision:



Ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively, monitoring their performance to maintain a positive work environment. Lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethic and top-notch customer service skills. Clearly communicate with your team when assigning tasks, making position changes, and outlining duties. Maintain good time management throughout the day, ensuring tasks such as cleaning, setup, and restocking are completed on time.

Food Preparation & Safety:



Oversee food handling and hygiene practices to maintain a 5-star Food Safety/Hygiene Rating. Ensure quality control for all food served, including checking freshness and correct serving temperatures. Conduct routine checks of fridge and food temperatures to meet safety standards.

Training & Development:



Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing team members. Guide team members through their job roles, providing high-quality training on food allergens and food handling.

Cashier & Till Management:



Manage the till, including handling the cash drawer and float management. Ensure accurate and secure financial transactions.

Maintenance & Stock Management:



Check stock levels of packaging and ensure timely restocking. Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the front counter, seating areas, and workstations.

Availability:


We're looking for a candidate who's flexible and open to working a mix of shifts, including occasional evenings and weekends. This schedule perfect for someone who enjoys a bit of variety and thrives in a lively, team-focused environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
