We'd like you to join us as a Team Leader at our service Blackburn Road in Lancashire.


Blackburn Road offers both long and short-term care in addition to respite breaks for adults with diagnosed mental health conditions. The house is purposefully small to offer a calm, tranquil and homely setting for residents, allowing them to focus on what's important to them.

What you'll be working:

Days with night shifts when required 08.00-20.30 days, 20.00-08.30 nights 37.5 Hours Monday - Sunday Alternate Weekends 26,130.00 per annum

What you'll be doing:

Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed Communicate any issues to the clinical team Accurately report and/or record work activities To be part of the on call team Complete Supervisions of Support Workers

What you'll have:

Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills. Flexible, professional, and positive approach. Level 3 NVQ or QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards. Sound working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual. Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations Ability to address and respond to employee issues in a fair and consistent manner. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
