About the Role:

As a Team Leader you'll support the Production Supervisor by leading a small team of Operators during the day shift. You'll be responsible for running production lines, operating equipment, and making sure that daily targets for quality, output, and efficiency are met.
This role involves hands-on work with machines and changeovers, so we're looking for someone who is confident with equipment, proactive, and focused on maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate production machines and perform regular changeovers as needed.

-Organise and guide a team of operators to meet daily production goals.

-Monitor line performance and communicate any issues to the Supervisor.

-Ensure production is running with Health & Safety and GMP standards.

-Complete shift handovers and keep accurate records (e.g. downtime, output, changeovers, quality checks).

-Train and support new team members to build a skilled and flexible team.

-Actively support continuous improvement in performance and processes.

-Be the main point of contact for your team and assist the Supervisor as needed.

Working Hours:

Multiple shift options available:

AM shift: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00

PM shift: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00

Weekend shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00-18:00

Salary:

Starting from 13.00/hour for AM shift, 13.50/ hour for PM and Weekend shifts.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a production or machine operator role, ideally with some team responsibility.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment, including performing changeovers.

Good understanding of Health & Safety and GMP requirements.

Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

A hands-on leader with a positive, can-do attitude.

Willingness to take ownership and help drive performance on shift.
