Job Role
An excellent development opportunity has arisen within Freeways as we are recruiting for Team Leader in Yate. This is a fantastic role for anyone looking to move forward in their career in health and social care as you will be working closely with the service manager.

You will be providing support and assistance with the running of the service. This position will enable you to gain experience and build up your confidence, skills and competence in care management.

The Team Leader will assist the manager and support staff:

with the effective management of the service according to Freeways regulations, policies and procedures, in particular Health and Safety at Work.

to ensure that appropriate support is provided to individuals in line with agreed support plans, taking in to account their independence, choice and dignity.

to assist in the preparation and organising of assessments, reviews, PCPs and actively participating in these meetings.

with their development through supervision, staff induction, identifying training needs and arranging as required.

to support your service in celebrating its successes and the achievements of the people you support.

With the use of a digital recording system in line with our Digital Strategy.

The exciting opportunity will involve a mixture of office based hours and support work. There is a requirement for flexible working including evenings, weekends and sleeps.

The ideal candidates will have or be willing to undertake a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care and have experience relevant to the role, along with good IT skills. Please see job description for further details and person specification.
