Job Title: Team Leader - Children's service

Are you looking to join a Newly opened Children's Therapeutic Service and have your Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare, if so, we have the role for you.



Our home in Shard End is a Children's residential home in the local community supporting up to three Children/young people with mental health, EBD and other associated needs.



Salary: Up to 33246.11 this includes an average of 6 sleep ins per month


Hours:

Average 40 hours per week (1 on 2 off rota)

Job Summary:



As the

Team Leader

for the Children's Home, some of your duties will be:

Working with the Management team to ensure that systems and standards are maintained at a high quality level. You will be nominated daily shift lead, by planning organising and ensuring completion of team duties for the day and handover to oncoming shifts. You must be able to motivate, support and guidance for staff on duty, on all shifts. Provide Staff supervision and appraisals. To provide on call support for staff, from home on a rota basis. Organising rotas and ensuring correct deployment of staff team To actively promote and take part in social, leisure, educational, life skills, holidays and other activities with children and young people. To support each young person to maintain a high standard of personal care; including intimate care, personal hygiene, health and sexual health needs and awareness and any mobility support that is needed. To support the medical health needs of children and young people, inclusive of medication administration, medical appointments and therapeutic and mental health and wellbeing needs
