We are looking for a Team Leader to join our highly valued and well-established Specialist SEND and Inclusion Support (SIS) Service.
This is an additional Team Leader post and it is anticipated that the successful candidate would work within the Communication and Interaction Team, however you may be asked to manage and support projects and staff who work across the service in any of our teams.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants with management experience who also have considerable skills and knowledge in supporting neurodivergent children and young people, including autistic young people, those with ADHD, and those with speech and language or communication needs.
The role will involve day to day line management of a team of staff including allocation of resources; planning, oversight and reporting of commissioned work; membership of relevant local authority steering groups and senior management groups; a small caseload and delivery of CPD to educational settings and other teams within the local authority.
In return you will be joining a highly supportive and dynamic service, with many exciting opportunities to develop your own skills. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with other team leaders in the service as well as other professional partners, and the benefit of supervision with one of the Area Principle Educational Psychologists.
