Here at CKS, we are well known for being the very few independent supermarkets in South Wales and pride ourselves on supplying stock from local suppliers! After some re-organization, we have created a new role as a Fill team leader. A Fill team leaders are responsible for overseeing daily operations of our wonderful team of stock fillers on the shop floor, ensuring excellent customer service, presentation, and supervising staff to uphold store standards. This role plays a key part in managing team performance, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership

Supervise floor staff including stockers, and customer service attendants. Assist in scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring attendance. Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure team performance and efficiency.

Customer Service:

Ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service. Handle and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Monitor checkout operations to maintain speed and accuracy if required to support the store team.

Store Operations:

Ensure shelves are fully stocked, merchandise is well-presented, and promotional displays are updated. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.

Inventory & Stock Control:

Supervise stock receiving, replenishment, and rotation to avoid product expiry. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies. Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse for timely stock deliveries.

Health, Safety & Hygiene:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular inspections of food areas, storage, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or violations promptly.
Driving essential as you will be required to work in a few stores.

Location: Swansea and Pembroke Area

Pay: to be discussed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
