Smiles Childcare Ltd are seeking a qualified early Years Team Lead

Our Before and After School Club now require a Team Leader.

This post will be a part time role, 22 hours a week working Monday to Friday, 7.30 am until 9 am and returning at 3 pm until 6 pm.

We are looking for a qualified person with a childcare qualification to at least a level 3.

The post will suit some body that:

is organised has confidence has empathy has a good work ethic will put the children's interests first can lead a small team will listen to others.
As this post is to care for children, the role requires

planning activities and experiences to be carried out an element of paperwork for health and safety Risk Assessment to be carried out Learning journeys to be completed.
It is essential that the right person can organise a team, complete paperwork, attend meeting , communicate with parents and other professional people.

Your role will include safeguarding across the club, being a DSL, and being trained in Pediatric First Aid.

Your knowledge of childcare must be up to date and relevant for the role.

Part of the role will include collecting the children's food from the nursery location which is walking distant to the school to set up the children's teas.

You will work closely with the club manager to achieve the very best for the children and staff in the club.

Finally, a good sense of humour is a must, a positive outlook and the ability to think on your feet will help.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
