What\xe2\x80\x99s the Role: Team Leader

What It Takes:

An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.

Where You Would Work: Foyle Young People Service

Foyle Young People Service offers support to young people in the project and in the community. These young people have complex needs and potentially emotional behaviours. The service offers a range of support including; setting up home, maintaining a home, developing social needs and life skills, benefit advice and budgeting and health and well-being. Foyle Young People Service promotes the principles of choice, dignity and confidentiality. A person centred approach is utilised and each young person is involved and empowered to gain independence.

Team Leader |

39 Hours Per Week |

*\xc2\xa324,450 - \xc2\xa327,654 per annum

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of \xc2\xa345.00 per night applies.
