Key Duties of the Role Include:
To implement the consistent delivery of superior customer service through the development and application of company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
To support the Food & Beverage Manager in ensuring the department creates a professional impression on customers and team members.
To act on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility, including handling compliments and resolving complaints efficiently.
To be aware of departmental targets and assist in ensuring they are met or exceeded.
To supervise daily bar and restaurant floor operations, ensuring company brand standards are consistently maintained with strong attention to detail.
To work on the
busy NORTH restaurant floor
, coordinating service between bar and floor teams to ensure smooth, efficient delivery of food and beverage service.
To be fully aware of all restaurant and bar facilities, services, and menus, working in cooperation with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
To comply with statutory and company requirements for Health & Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability, and employment legislation.
To assist in stock control procedures, including monitoring usage, rotation, and minimising waste.
To maximise opportunities for departmental sales and upselling through effective service and customer engagement.
To assist in planning and supporting promotions, special events, and seasonal offers in cooperation with management.
To ensure team members are trained, motivated, and sales-focused, submitting training records to management as required.
To maintain dining and public areas to company standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation.
To actively upsell throughout customer service interactions and support the team in achieving sales targets.
To ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained throughout their dining and bar experience.
To monitor and report on operational performance, including customer satisfaction and financial outcomes, suggesting improvements where necessary.
To ensure HACCP and cleaning schedules are completed daily and standards are maintained at all times.
To arrive for duty on time in full, clean uniform, wearing a name badge, and following company grooming standards.
To conduct yourself professionally and courteously at all times, representing the brand positively.
