Maintenance Engineer, Team Leader - Specialist Maintenance Services (full training provided) - basic pay, allowances, overtime, benefits

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Working alongside and leading a small team to deliver essential client site maintenance and specialist services (training given) to a growing and diverse customer base across the energy, waste and biomass sectors in the UK and Ireland. You will be working in a \xe2\x80\x98hands on\xe2\x80\x99 as well as leadership role, managing the relevant tools, supplies and associated paperwork.

What you need to do the job: Team Leader

  • Hands-on engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or similar/associated background \xe2\x80\x93 we will be flexible provided you can demonstrate the appropriate desire to learn and suitability for the tasks assigned
  • You must be prepared to work in a hands-on capacity alongside your team on jobs at client sites
  • Able to demonstrate effective leadership, supporting employee engagement and motivation
  • Previous experience of adherence to strict health + safety rules and regulations
  • After the relevant training, the ability to work under own initiative without day-to-day supervision
Role in more detail: Team Leader
  • Working in a \xe2\x80\x98hands on\xe2\x80\x99 capacity alongside your team on client sites
  • Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to your team, ensuring achievement of the tasks assigned, managing labour and resources efficiently
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards
  • Monitor procedures and processes for the safe receipt, storage, transportation and use of tools and associated products; stock control; maintaining records for an equipment inventory using Excel
  • Site audits, to ensure consistent levels of quality in our service and capabilities
  • Plan and document projects delivered to ensure continuous improvement and shared learning amongst the teams and feedback to customers
  • Ensure that customer requirements are carried out efficiently and according to each project assigned in line with method statements and operating handbook
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and wider teams to ensure a professional, smooth and efficient service is provided and best practice maintained
Other:
  • Driving license
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight in hotels (average 2 nights per week)
Salary and benefits package:

Earning an annual gross pay of between \xc2\xa337-45k made up of a basic pay of \xc2\xa329,250 increasing to \xc2\xa331,350 at completion of short training programme - plus \xc2\xa36,000 per annum allowance, annual bonus, plus paid overtime, plus pension; annual leave of 30 days (increasing with each years\xe2\x80\x99 completed service) including bank holidays; working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - travel and overnight stays all fully expensed
