Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced clinician to take on the role of Team Lead for the Specialist Psychotherapy Service (SPS), Humber Traumatic Stress Service (HTSS) and General Liaison within Unplanned Mental Health Services.



SPS, HTSS and General Liaison provide specialist consultation, advice, supervision, assessment, formulation and treatment to those presenting with C-PTSD, complex relational and emotional needs; often where there has been limited engagement or response to previous psychologically informed treatments within primary and secondary care mental health services.



The teams comprise of experienced senior psychotherapists, psychologists, medical, nursing and occupational therapy, administration support and trainee psychologists and medics on placement.



To support the Service Manager and senior clinicians within the

service area to provide operational leadership.



To be accountable in own area of responsibility to provide management and organisational leadership, ensuring the delivery of evidence based clinical interventions and practice.



To provide specialised advice as part of an MDT which contributes to the diagnosis, care or education of patients/clients; relevant to the clinician's professional background and scope of practice.



Where appropriate, to continue to demonstrate advanced clinical skills in practice and provide support and advice re service development and the delivery of care in partnership with patients, clients, staff, managers, other agencies.



To maintain a high level of environmental standards e.g. Safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and infection control



To provide a range of leadership/management advice regarding

assessment and interventions for the service



Responsible for achieving key performance indicators for service

delivery.



To be responsible for team budgets in partnership with the Service Manager, senior clinicians and Finance Manager.
