Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee and coordinate our large pond works. The ideal candidate will possess strong pond knowledge and hands-on skills with various tools and equipment. This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality pond construction and management solutions, ensuring safety standards are met while maintaining client satisfaction. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of pond technicians in executing maintenance and some construction tasks. Oversee the utilisation of hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and other machinery to complete projects efficiently. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects. Conduct regular inspections of work site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver customised solutions. Ensure proper maintenance of all tools and machinery used by the team. Promote a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols across all operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in pond construction and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, pond filter and pump systems. Knowledge of fish and ponds. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Excellent organisational skills. Good communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and team members. A valid driver's licence is essential.

Pay: Up to 31,000.00 per year
