This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and food safety protocols. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with management to develop menus and ensure high-quality food offerings that meet customer expectations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. A background in bartending, culinary arts, or food production is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
