We are seeking to appoint a

Team Leader

with the passion and dedication to manage a team of care assistants providing personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes, in the Medway community. You will be working alongside 2 other Team Leaders to ensure our services are running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Type:

Permanent, Full Time

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

Salary:

13.58 per hour (plus on-call payments of 200 every two weeks)

Required:



Previous experience in a supervisory role. An NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or a keen interest in starting the qualification Minimum of 2 years' experience as a care worker (with older people beneficial, but not essential). Demonstrable ability to organise staff and other resources to meet Service User outcomes. To hold a full driving licence and have the use of your own adequately insured vehicle (

'Business Use' insurance)

. Good communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels. Demonstrable knowledge of the issues relating to older people as well as an understanding of the local care system, i.e. Social Services. Must be prepared to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. A dynamic team player, able to work independently and as part of a team, responding to changing circumstances and adapting on the move. An understanding of care planning assessments. Good administrative skills. Good I.T. skills.
